Ming Fai constantly devotes ourselves into undertaking environment protection upon the trend, from production, purchasing of raw material to researching and development, from inside out, Ming Fai insisted in utilizing green resource and making products as our goal. As the leading hotel, airline and travel products supplier in China, Ming Fai deeply learns its indispensable role in minimizing pollution and protecting our environment. Our Research and Development Department has stayed closely in touch with international environmental protection corporation, striving to innovate and develop green products and making contribution to sustainable development of our society.
Ming Fai——The first supplier to achieve the certification of ECOCERT and Eco-Label for hotel amenities, will not stop developing more green products. For all these years, environmental protection has become one of our biggest missions in our company. We insist that quality of the products should grow effectively with environmental protection and benefit. Thus, we participate in sending out the message to the public through educational promotion activities of public environment, health and safety awareness. Below are the environmental protection policies for our staffs to attain at work.
Research and Develop in Production
1. We actively innovate and provide the products and services which have low impact to the environment. With our technology and green materials, the use in natural resources can be effectively used in the whole process of the production. We ensure the energy can be recycled and reused, by selecting the light materials rather than the heavy materials, avoiding over-packaging to reduce wastage of empty bottles, printing with soy ink and using recycled materials.
2. We cooperate with the environmental companies and suppliers all over the world. The Research and Development team innovates the products with the top environmental technology and raw materials. For example, PSM, REECO, EcoPure, are the green products that we invented for the hotels which share the same ideas with us.
3. We established new R&D centre in Hong Kong to provide more choices for our customers. And through in collaboration with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, we manage to grasp the latest trend of environmental protection.
Start Green, End Green
1. Minimize the energy and raw material waste in our production process and search for ways to minimize the impact of pollution.
2. We avoid over packaging and access the energy used from the product design to the end of production process.
3. We try our best to reduce the emission on production and utilized the energy we used, constantly improve our environment through the whole production process. We put great efforts to achieve making the best of resource and energy and the least consumption.
Corporate Social Responsibilities
1. Ming Fai invested on the facilities for environmental protection, including Sewage Treatment Plants and replaced T8 light tube to T5 light tube.
2. We cooperate with suppliers that share the same ideas with us, encourage the contractors and suppliers to meet the environmental protection requirements.
3. We encourage the contractors and suppliers to use low impact pollution materials in production, to avoid toxic chemicals release.
Regular Assessment
1. We strictly follow the environmental regulations set by the PRC and strive to meet the international standards in environmental protection.
2. Regularly monitor and measure the intensity of the plans, provide effective solution when needed, continually improve in environmental protection.
Provide Training
1. We deliver and encourage our staffs to realize the responsibility for the environment and to the activities they are involved in.
2. We encourage the staffs to involve in the environmental protection activity and inspire them by having the right attitude and way of working, continually enhance their consciousness and awareness in environmental protection.

In the future, Ming Fai will continue to put great efforts in developing more environmentally friendly and competitive products towards green and innovation direction which will effectively reduce energy consumption and minimize the impact on the environment, encourage our designers utilize bold and up-to-date materials and technique into products development while at the same time in collaboration with our suppliers develop more new green materials, making it more scientific and building three-wins situation.
