A magnitude of 7.8 earthquake hits Sichuan Province on May 12, 2008. This devastating earthquake has killed more than 50,000 people and left hundreds of thousands crippled, injured, traumatized, homeless and many more still buried under the collapsed buildings.

In the next day, Ming Fai and its staff and workers joined hands immediately to fund raising for the rescue. As of May 16th, money received from staff, workers and the company altogether have made a donation of HKD$800,000. The Chairman, Mr. Ching Chi Fai, has sent the generous donation to Hong Kong Red Cross and to help the victims survive through this critical time and from this tragedy.

Ming Fai Group deem it is our responsibility to take a leading role in response to cope of disasters because we feel the same deep in our heart; and try all our best to make significant contributions to support the relief, reconstruction and disaster preparedness operation in the affected area.
